This section specialises in the overhaul / repair of auxiliary gearboxes as fitted to the Rolls Royce Dart Engine, including spin testing of gearboxes to 7,500 R.P.M. and beyond.

Gearboxes for many other applications are also handled, for example wing flap, landing gear etc.

As well as being overhauled and/or repaired all associated drive shafts are statically or dynamically balanced.

Engine bearer overhaul and repair is carried out using special jigs to ensure accurate alignment of fittings and attachment points.
